Sustainable living is mindful living.

Mindful Living is about stepping into the present moment and embracing it with awareness and acceptance. You can do this all throughout your day; when eating, slow down and savor it, when in nature, listen to the birds, notice the beauty surrounding you, when in relationship with someone, give them your full active listening attention. Our fast-paced culture makes mindfulness challenging. It is the fast-paced mindlessness that is causing us so much of the disharmony and destruction that we see in our world today. From loss of biodiversity and climate change to anxiety, stress and lack of sleep, modern mindless culture is harmful on both a personal and planetary level. Take time this day to slow down, and be mindful. Mindfulness is an essential ingredient in the mutual flourishing of people and planet.
